You stay in control.
We bring the demand.

We have sat on both sides of this market. This is the version we wished existed back when we were the ones getting the emails: real demand, on your terms, with nothing decided for you.

You set the price

Your rate, your call. Set it per site and per format, and change it whenever you want.

You approve every request

Nothing publishes without you seeing it first. Every piece comes to you for review, and you can say no.

You get paid automatically

No minimum to reach, and no invoice to write. We send the receipt, in the currency you choose.

No exclusivity

Keep your existing buyers and your own rate card. Nothing is locked in, and you can take a site off the marketplace whenever you want.

Relevant requests, not cold emails

Brands and agencies find your site through the marketplace. Requests come to you ready to review, with the brief attached.

Real publications only

Every site is reviewed before it can list. We want a marketplace that publishers and buyers both trust.

Ready to list your first site?

Give brands different ways to be seen.

List whichever ones suit your site. You decide what you are willing to run, at what price, and you can turn any of them off at any time.

Editorial Articles

Relevant articles created for your publication and its audience. You may also know them as guest posts. Whatever you call them, relevance is the key: the piece should fit your site and be worth reading for the people who already visit it.

Sponsored Content

Brand-funded content presented clearly and naturally within your site. The article is clearly marked as sponsored on the page, so your readers always know what they are reading.

Brand Mentions

A brand, product or company mentioned within a new, relevant article. The brand is part of the content rather than the subject of it, which makes this the lightest format you can offer.

List Features

A brand included naturally in a curated list, comparison or roundup, a format often called a listicle. Think of pieces like the best tools for a job or where to eat in a city this summer. The brand takes one spot among several relevant picks, so the piece stays useful to your readers and reads as a genuine selection rather than an ad.

Homepage Exposure

A visible placement on your homepage for brands looking for additional exposure. Usually a simple link in the right-hand column of the homepage, and it can also be a linked image.

Not sure how to price a format on your site? Ask us and we will tell you what comparable sites in your market are charging.

Your site, your voice.

If you have a house style, a tone your readers recognise or rules about how a subject is handled, none of that has to bend to be listed here. Every request comes to you with the brief behind it: who wants to appear on your site, what they want the piece to cover and the link they are asking for.

From there you can write the article yourself, in your own words, so it reads like everything else you publish.

Your words.
Your tone.
Your call.

Built by people who have been on both sides.

We’ve bought placements. We’ve sold them. We’ve run publications. We’ve dealt with vague briefs, endless emails, awkward negotiations and late payments.

Fjordio was built to make that entire process simpler for publishers.

You list.

You approve.

You get paid.

One site or a whole portfolio.

Whether you run one publication or twenty, manage everything from the same account.

Single-site owners

One site with a real readership is enough. List it, set your price and your rules, and take only the requests that fit what you publish.

Portfolio and network owners

Running several sites across markets? List them all under one account, price them individually, and handle every incoming brief from a single dashboard.

One honest note: we check every site before it can list, and we keep checking. Publications built to sell placements rather than to be read do not get in, which is exactly what makes a listing here worth something.

Making brand visibility
simpler, faster and smoother,
is what matters to us.

There is a person on the other end.

We have run sites ourselves, so the questions publishers ask are ones we have had to answer for our own properties. Werner is one of the account managers you might end up talking to.

Ask about a brief that looks wrong for your site, about changing your price or your rules, or about a payout you are waiting on. You will get an answer from someone who understands what you are protecting.

Publisher FAQ

Does listing cost anything?

No. Creating an account and listing a site are both free, and there is no subscription to keep it listed.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Listing is free and there is no subscription. We do not charge you a listing fee, a commission on your price, a payout fee or a currency conversion fee, and nothing is deducted for the review or the publishing step. The price you set for a format is the amount your payout is based on.

How are sites reviewed?

Every site is reviewed before it goes live on the marketplace. We look for a real publication with a real audience: its own content, genuine traffic and a clear subject, rather than a site that only exists to sell placements. That is what keeps the marketplace worth browsing for brands, and worth being part of for you.

How do brands find my site?

Through the Fjordio marketplace. Brands and agencies search and filter listed sites by market, language, category, price and metrics such as traffic and Domain Rating (DR), then send a request to the sites that fit. You do not have to pitch anyone.

Can I set different prices for different formats?

Yes. Each format has its own price, set separately for every site you list, so a homepage placement can cost more than an editorial article. You can also add a higher price for specific niches you choose to accept.

Can I change my prices later?

Yes, whenever you like. You can raise or lower the price of one format on one site without touching anything else.

What kind of content can I refuse?

Anything. Every request comes to you before it goes live, and you can decline it without giving a reason. You can also rule things out up front: choose which categories you accept, opt in or out of niches such as iGaming, crypto, CBD, dating, loans and adult content, and write down in your guidelines what you will not publish.

Can I set my own publishing guidelines?

Yes. Every site has a guidelines field where you describe your house style, length, structure and anything you will not cover. You can also require an image, set how many links are allowed and add an example article for the piece to match.

What happens if a brand asks for something that doesn’t fit my site?

You decline it or ask for changes. Requests reach you through the platform rather than from the brand directly, so there is no awkward conversation to have. Say no, or say what would need to change, and that is the end of it.

How quickly do I get paid?

Payouts go out on the 10th of every month and cover everything you earned the month before. They run automatically, with no minimum balance to build up first and no invoice for you to send, because we issue the receipt for you.

Which currencies can I be paid in?

SEK, DKK, NOK, EUR, USD and GBP, with no conversion fees.

Do I have to work exclusively with Fjordio?

No. Keep your existing buyers and your own rate card. Listing here is an additional channel, not a replacement for how you already sell.

Can I list more than one site?

Yes. Add as many sites as you own under one account, price each one separately, and manage them all from the same dashboard. Contact us if you have a large portfolio, we will handle it for you and include all your guidelines.

Your audience is already there. Let brands find you.

List your publication on Fjordio, set your own terms and make your site available to brands and agencies looking for the right places to be seen.
